Coaching tailored to your needs
Happy to coach You in English!
Sports coaching is founded on—and always aims to improve—the client’s well-being. This may involve refining technique in a sport you’re already familiar with, or practicing something completely new.
One of the cornerstones is regular training and the coach’s support. In the longer collaboration packages, I am available to you on a daily basis, but even a few joint training sessions can give you the push you need to get started or to improve a specific technique. My coaching approach is individualized and always takes into account the client’s age, previous experience, and any illnesses or injuries.
I always tailor the training to your needs and your schedule. I work in the Helsinki region. Feel free to get in touch and ask for more information!
About me
Authorized Sports Advisor
Personal Trainer, M.A.
Personal Trainer, M.A.
I have a long background in physical exercise and endurance sports, and I have trained and competed in several endurance disciplines for decades. Through active exercise, I have gained broad experience in different training methods, sports injuries, and recovery from them, as well as a strong commitment to a lifestyle with overall well-being as the goal.
My athletic career began with swimming. I trained as a competitive swimmer as a teenager and later worked as a swimming instructor. Through my background in the scouting movement, I led hiking trips from a young age, and I have continued this as an adult in Lapland as well as in the mountains of Southern Europe. During my upper secondary school years, I became interested in running. I have run close to thirty marathons, around a hundred shorter distance races, and several ultramarathons. I also perform well in cycling, skiing, and gym training.
Through my previous profession, I came into contact with Finland’s leading experts in running, cycling, and cross-country skiing. I received valuable guidance for my own training and gained insight into professional sports coaching. My first degree is a Master of Arts in History. As a hobby, I spent several years leading running city tours for tourists—both in central Helsinki and along the trails of Central Park. The excellent feedback I received from these running tours motivated me to train as a sports advisor. My current goal is to share my expertise and inspire people to exercise and adopt an active lifestyle.
